An expansion of my exploration into how AI can be utilized in design, focusing solely on the ethical concerns AI raises and potential concerns. While AI wrote the initial essay based on my prompts, I rewrote the essay by hand based on the core components of the AI results I received. I learned that, while a useful tool for small body copy, AI fails to produce cohesive, quality long form content and is best used to review content written by creatives and offer additional insight or potential edits; rather than create the content itself. This addresses many of the ethical concerns creatives have brought forth–not just the most discussed issue of plagiarizing and copyright infringement.
